TSW Event Report from Japan!

How do you get information on TSW? I'm pretty sure for most people it came from the internet. I myself gathered information on TSW solely from the internet for many years, and from some books more recently. But this time, I got a chance to learn about TSW from dermatologists at a lecture event! Atopic , which is a TSW patients' organisation, holds free lecture events by TSW doctors regularly. History of my troubled skin - First Post

Hi, I'm Tommy. I'm female, a video editor and currently living in the UK with my lovely husband. For my first post, I would like to share the history of my skin. I didn't use any medication and it naturally went away when I was 11 years old. 2006 (22 years old) It all started like an explosion. One morning, my face and neck flared up terribly. My eyes were swollen up and couldn't open. I didn't know what it was, so went to see a doctor and took a blood test. Nothing came back too abnormal - just a minor allergy on grass and dust. Meeting with Dr. Kenji Sato

I know that I haven't blogged about my skin condition for ages. To be honest it's because I wasn't sure what was going on with my skin. 20 January, 2014 Since November last year, my skin gradually became more and more aggravated. I was confused because the way my skin worsened was somehow different from any of the other times I'd experienced before. I felt that I needed to see someone who could give me advice on this. I've been fighting TSW since 2008 and I decided that it was the time to ask for help. The New World So I booked a flight to Japan, then hopped onto a coach. 21 long hours later, I was in 'The New World'. Well, this chaotic place is actually called 'The New World(新世界)' in Osaka, Japan. Yes - I was there to see Dr. Kenji Sato . I was very nervous. I wasn't originally too keen on meeting him as a patient. I had seen so many dermatologists and every single time I had ended up disappointed.
